Another Cold Start
On one of the coldest Sydney days I’ve felt in a long time, came the largest turnout of Porsches I’ve witnessed at a local event. Almost 150 in fact, and almost all of them the 911 silhouette. Turns out bone-chilling temperatures (for Sydney, anyway) slow no diehard enthusiast.
I normally favour a mixed bag of P-cars to focus on on a Sunday morning, but this time I was preoccupied with keeping warm waiting for the sun to peak over the horizon. However, seeing the handful of 992 GT3s and the left-hand drive 718 GT4 Clubsport I definitely cannot complain about. I’ll happily volunteer any time to keep the passenger seat warm while hot laps are being undertaken.
There’s not much more to say about Autohaus Hamilton’s Cars & Coffee events. It’s usually a relaxed and quiet affair – despite what one may presume – and this time was no different.
