Celebrations and Salutations

I don’t think I’ve seen a more controversial season in the history of Supercars. It seemed like every second round was fraught with talk of vehicle parity, team orders, or driver uncertainty. That would later grow to encompass teams and manufacturers. In some ways, I’m glad the past year was one I didn’t follow too closely, though if I had dropped the ball altogether then I would have equally missed some milestones like the Mustang and DJR Team Penske’s cleansweep, or had a chance to say goodbye to the likes of Garry Rogers, Steven Richards, Tim Slade and Nissan. Safe to say things are almost the same as they were when we started this decade. Now, onto the next one.
